Chris joined Denny Elwell Company, L.C. in 2003, and was appointed President in 2007. Since that time, Chris has implemented Brokerage Services and Property Management divisions to an already well established Commercial Leasing and Development business. The addition has allowed the company to offer more services to current clientele and reach a broader customer base.

Chris earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in International Business & Finance from Grand View College and completed his Masters at Iowa State University. Prior to joining Denny Elwell Company, L.C., Chris was employed by Wells Fargo & Co. During his tenure with Wells Fargo, Chris held positions as a Commercial Lender, a Mergers & Acquisition team member, and an Internal Corporate Auditor.

In addition to his executive duties, Chris enjoys participating in community, civic, and professional activities. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker; a Commissioner for the City of Ankeny's Civil Service Commission; Director on the Boards of Bankers Trust Company, Putco Manufacturing, Inc., and Denny Elwell Company, L.C.; and member of the Grand View College School of Business's Academic Advisory Committee. Chris' favorite pastimes are family activities with his wife and daughter.

Chris is assisted by Amy Hinners. Amy is a graduate of Buena Vista University and has been working in the various facets of real estate since 1991.
