Chris Murray is the President of Denny Elwell Company
L.C. His strong background in banking, finance &
real estate gives him a solid foundation for the management
and development of the firm.
After earning his undergraduate degree from Grand View
College in 1998 in International Business and Finance
& and an M.B.A. from Iowa State University in 2005
and spending five years in the banking and finance industry
with Wells Fargo & Co, as a Commercial Lender, Mergers
and Acquisitions team member and Internal Corporate
Auditor Chris assumed his role with the firm as Executive
Vice President in 2003. In 2007 Chris took on his current
role as president and became a member of the Board of
Directors for Denny Elwell Company L.C.
In addition to his executive duties at Denny Elwell
Company, Chris enjoys participating in many community,
civic and professional activities and spending time
with his family. He currently is a Licensed Real Estate
Broker in the state of Iowa, a Commissioner for the
City of Ankeny's Civil Service Commission, teaches
Real Estate Finance as an Adjunct Professor at Grand
View College, Serves as a Director for Bank Iowa, Putco
Manufacturing Incorporated and is a member of The Grand
View College School of Business's Academic Advisory
Committee.
